The Washington Center is Seeking Speakers

around-tour-2-capitol

Colleagues: Dario Sotomayor <Dario.Sotomayor@twc.edu> at the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars is looking for speakers in Washington, D.C.

I am speaking to a group from Central America in early May on social media.

He is looking for additional presenters.

A speaker’s fee is available. Please contact him directly.

Best, Len.

From Dario:

Does anyone  come to your mind to present on the following topics:

Managing Crisis with Diplomacy – Creating consciousness without causing panic. Ex. H1N1

Science for Dummies – How to make science articles (articles, press releases, documents) interesting for all of the population

How to make a headline news? – What is taken into consideration and strategies to make it more interesting

Against all odds?  Giving results – In times of crisis or when citizens are against government or a company, how to manage and reduce negative impact.

Thank you!

The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, more formally known as The Washington Center, is an independent, nonprofit organization serving hundreds of universities in the United States and other countries.

  1. Gentleman,

If I were you I would contact Mike Toron. He is a wealth of information on all those areas. You can find him on LINKEDIN. He would really be a good choice.

    • Hi Don: Please have him contact the person listed in the article. Best, Len.

  2. As the Executive Director of Together We Heal, I regularly give presentations on matters of Childhood Sexual Abuse. One in particular that I believe you will find of benefit has to do with your topic, “Against All Odds”. Many survivors of CSA come across old laws that do not protect them or give them the justice they deserve. I would be honored to present how we help survivors face this challenge. Please contact me at togetherweheal@ymail.com or 754.234.7975.

    Respectfully

    Dave Pittman

  3. I don’t leave a leave a response, but I browsed a few comments on this page The Washington Center is Seeking Speakers — Leonard Sipes.Com. I do have a few questions for you if you tend not to mind. Could it be simply me or do some of the comments look as if they are left by brain dead visitors? 😛 And, if you are writing on additional online sites, I would like to keep up with you. Could you make a list of the complete urls of your social networking sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
